Description
The primary growth of the undergrowth is made of many hearty species? Doesn't that imply that there is no primary growth? But then the next sentence mentions the tremendous layer of fir needs on the forest floor. I interpret this to mean that the primary growth consists of fir tress. Which is? Many hearty species or fir trees? What is a hearty species?
